TRAINING PROGRAMS

Overview

Success in sport depends on great planning and organization in the training process. Over the course of a season, these components are crucial in managing the stress that players endure from injury, fatigue, extensive travel, constant practice, and playing schedule.

You cannot train the same way in-season as you would during the off-season. Training must be separated through planned periodization; systematically dividing the year into Preparatory (off-season), Competitive (in-season), and Transition (post-season).

Strength & Conditioning

Training requires learning proper and efficient movement techniques from highly qualified strength and conditioning coaches.  It means following programs designed with the individual’s age, training experience, the sport, and the time of the year in mind.kaitlyn-isaac-rfess

Hockey Specific Training

Regardless of the sport and athlete’s age, we look to build a complete athlete.  However, our Hockey Specific program begins at the Peewee level and extends through minor hockey to the junior, OHL, NCAA, CIS, and professional levels.  We not only address specific athletic needs, but also training our players to the physical demands that the game of hockey presents.  This model allows us to build a well-rounded athlete who is physically prepared for the demands of the game, while drastically reducing the likelihood and frequency of hockey-related injuries.  Each block of training has a specific purpose and end goal, which will ultimately improve your on-ice performance.image2

Team Training

We feel that teams that train together, win together.  There is nothing better than training with your teammates in a competitive environment that focuses on individual improvement as well as team bonding.  We will work with your team to find a time that works best for your team’s schedule.  Programming will be developed based on the team’s age and needs.  Athletes Fuel Team Training extends to a variety of sports.
